The inner wall of the outer ring has several (not less than 3) longitudinal tracks. The steel ball rolls cyclically along the groove of the cage between the outer sleeve and the guide shaft.
Features of linear bearings
1. Linear bearings are a linear motion system produced at low cost and used in conjunction with cylindrical shafts with unlimited stroke.
2. Since the bearing ball and the shaft are in point contact, the load used is small. The steel ball rotates with a small friction resistance, thereby achieving high-precision and smooth motion.
3. Linear bearings are an integral sleeve that can only bear radial loads and perform linear reciprocating motion. The radial clearance is divided into adjustable and non-adjustable types.
4. It can be made into ordinary (P) and precision (J) grades.
